Photograph #7 is the most effective to me. Its a picture of an Amazon rainforest being burned down by farmers to use that land for farming purposes. When I see this photo, I think about all the negative impacts that we have in our ecosystem and how we are gradually destroying just like the farmers that are burning down the rainforest.
The second paragraph of the writing is the most powerful to me. "The Amazon rainforest, sometimes called 'the lungs of our planet,' produces 20% of the world's oxygen and contains the largest diversity of plants and animal species in the world". This is where the writing is effective, because it contains the important facts about rainforests that most people don't know about and makes them realize that rainforests are necessary to sustain our lives.
Nature gives me oxygen to breath and grows food to eat. Oxygen means the most to me in nature, because we are currently polluting our environment and this causes less oxygen to be present and more carbon dioxide to be available.

we can't live with out the nature
ReplyDeleteIt makes me sad too. I didn't know it produced 20% of our oxygen until I read it.
ReplyDeleteI like this picture as well. I found it crazy in the book when is says that the amazon rainforest produces 20% of the world's oxygen and contains the largest diversity of plants and animal species in the world as well!
ReplyDeleteIt really makes you appreciate a rainforest after reading that. Burning a rainforest causes great more danger to our ecosystem than we thought.
ReplyDeleteI like Amazons because one day i will go to the one of the amazons in this world
ReplyDeleteit is crazy that the rainforest creates 20% of the worlds oxygen, i heard that algae and smaller plant life around the globe produce even more!
ReplyDeleteIt's sad to see people cutting down trees to farm when there is so much more land they can use to to do their farming.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with you that rainforests are necessary to sustain our lives. and also oxygen means a lot to us because there less oxygen its polluted by smoke it will be hard for every body breath in.
ReplyDeletei like Amazons and we need nature oxygen our animal and human
