That was quote from
the movie and they were gunge white people who gathering in the restaurant. it
was February 21, 1960. In Greensboro, North Carolina, four black college
students sat down at a lunch counter reserved for whites and refused to leave. And
the police didn’t protect them from the gunge.
At the same time, when the police arrives to the restaurant and they
treated them a bad way. This sit-in was a direct challenge to southern
tradition. They were for 70,000 black residents; this was still the segregated South
such as Movies, hotels and city buses they were all segregated by white people.
However, the Blacks has spent money in downtown stores, but were refused seats
at lunch counters.
