Photograph 5: Car wrecks in Baerum, Norway, Summer 1997
Photograph number five was the most effective
photo to me. This photograph is about junk cars that are stacked on top of each
other. The color of those stacked junk cars makes this photograph kind off
effective. This photograph generates things such as the color those junk cars
makes and how it changes. It generates a different story to it from another
perspective like why these junk cars are
stacked on top of each other.
The part were the writing was most powerful is the
story behind all of those junk cars, here a direct quote from the paragraphs
under the photo, “The story behind each each wreck may tell of human loss—of
judgment, of health and strength, of life. There is economic loss as well—not
only in the medical costs of the accident, but of the car itself, which has
little or no value if it is totaled” I think this quote is so effective because
it talks about the human loss and why this junk cars are there for, it also
talks about how it effects the economy or maybe the car was old and nobody use
it anymore.
Well to me nature means a lot to me. For example,
a healthy environment will have a clean water and food and it will look
beautiful because its good condition. That might not work for a bad environment
and it might also effect the people. There is a lot we don't know about nature
because we don't get to see part of it and i think that's what makes it
interesting.
That is sad :[ Car wrecks make me nervous, I almost lost my sister in law last year in one.
ReplyDeletePowerful picture, this is the one I chose too. It's weird to think each one of those wrecked cars can tell a story like that
ReplyDeleteI also like how each car had its own story behind it. The color of the car that stands out in the picture makes them stand out in their surrounding.
ReplyDeleteI like the colors in the junk cars. Although they are junk cars the colors gives in interest.

ReplyDeleteI like the part that says The story behind each each wreck may tell of human loss—of judgment, of health and strength, of life.
ReplyDelete"It generates a different story to it from another perspective like why these junk cars are stacked on top of each other." That was my question when I 1st saw it.
