My favorite passage from martin Luther king’s is this one, when he says “we know though painful experience that freedom is never voluntarily given by the oppressor; it must be demanded by the oppressed. We have waited for more than 340 years for our constitutional and god given rights.”
My second favorite passage from Dalia lama is when he said “peace, in the sense the absence of war is of little value to someone who is dying of hunger or cold. It will not remove the pain of torture inflicted on a prisoner of conscience. It does not comfort those who have lost their loved ones in floods caused by senseless deforestation in a neighbouring country.”
This two passages are my favorite, because the first one it talks about freedom. It also shows us how the people needed freedom and how they have been waited for it. Freedom is something important and it’s good to have freedom, because without freedom live is nothing. The second one it talks about peace, because peace is important, thing in the world.
My own ideas on habit I could develop that might promote peace are to stop the war’s that is around the world. There are many countries that don’t have any peace, because of war going around there countries. This habit might give us some of that inner peace that the Dalai Lama wrote, because he explained the people how peace is more important of Wolds.
