During the civil rights movements, many people participated which was the cause they believed in strongly, Diana Nash was one of those students who strongly believed that this was something worthy of joining and it is was very American to her. Dian Nash went to attending Lawson’s workshop; she participated the sit-ins civil right moments. As this sit-ins movements grows, days and weeks later white people started acting violent toward those peaceful civil right movements who were doing sit-in as protest against discriminations, who were blacks in majority but there whites who were supporting them.
