Hey, my name is Nate McCready, and I
am a freshman from Upper Arlington (5
minutes away from main campus). I currently have an apartment in Marion 10
minutes away and live with 2 other guys. I am studying to become an engineer,
and hopefully will become a Biomedical Engineer or a Civil Engineer. I enjoy
working out, hanging out with friends, and going outside and being active by;
playing sports, going out on ATVs’, or even Kayaking.
I
really don’t have very many role models, but one off the top of my head would Moshe Kai Cavalin. Moshe is an 11 year old boy, who was
initally enrolled in college at the age of 8 and graduated with 2 associates
degrees with a 4.0 at the age of 11! It seems that congenitally, role models
are older figures, ones who are wise and have done great accomplishments in
their lives, but Moshe is a great example of how even younger people can be
role models too. I Find Moshe to be a role model because he really shows how
hard work can make anyone succeed, even if you are 10 years younger than the
average college students in your classes.
